I have coached several all-state players and several players who have went on to play college ball at all different levels.  I enjoy being around the game and seeing the progress that athletes make.  Building a good foundation of fundamentals is key to a player’s success followed by the repetition of those fundamental skills.

Tyler Miller

2010 State Championship Team.png

A 2010 graduate from Jonathan Alder High School, Tyler earned first-team All-Ohio, All-Metro, All-County and Second-Team All-America honors. He was named the Columbus Dispatch Metro Player of the Year and Home Plate Club Pitcher of the Year. Throughout his High School career, he threw multiple no-hitters, including one in the regional semi-finals, and helped his team to a district, regional, and state championship with a 34-0 record in 2010. Tyler played 4 years of Division I college baseball at the University of Evansville and was a part of the 2014 Missouri Valley Conference Championship Team.  In 20 appearances out of the bullpen, he racked up 16 strikeouts against 6 walks and registered 9 scoreless outings.

A 2019 graduate from Jonathan Alder High School. 2019 BA of .449 with 2HRs, career slugging
percentage of .486. Career fielding percentage of .986 behind the plate.

- Played travel softball from 10U-18U. Currently have 5 years of travel coaching experience with
many years of individual instruction.
- Played Softball at the University of Findlay, career was cut short due to COVID
- B.S. in Strength and Conditioning from University of Findlay, currently working on my M.S. in Athletic Training from Otterbein University.​

My goal is to continue to grow and pass along my passion and knowledge for the game. I lovegiving back to the softball community what it has given to me, and enjoy watching players fall into their love for the sport. I have spent many hours outside of practice to get to where I am today, and I want to continue to pass that down for generations to come.

-> 2nd Team All County  (2022)

-> Played 3 years of travel baseball with Champion City Kings (2018-2020),

-> Played 1 year of travel baseball with Miami Valley Prospects (2021)

My goal is to help develop young Catchers by teaching proper footwork and technique. I have spent many hours behind the plate learning the technique and crafting the skill. I am excited to be able to pass this knowledge down to other kids with the same aspirations. It takes dedication and time to become a great catcher.
